Heyz People.. i m back.. sorry..didn't manage to blog for the past few days as i was quite exhausted by the time i reach home.. a lot of things happened.. which i will start one by one with you..haha..
Well, the most recent one was of course the event at SMU.. it's called "Sound of Eden".. there was a band etc and some of our people from the zone was involved in decorating the backdrop..like kenny and daniel etc.. and i m quite honoured to be helping out in it, though not much... i was impressed with the art pieces they came up with.. i was chatting with some of Kenny's classmates about what's the theme of their work and one of the guy told me it's supposed to represent the silence or peace or something?? But in the end the work they came up with was quite 'loud'.. haha.. interesting.. i asked them what were they doing before they came Lasalle.. and why.. typically.. the stuffs they were doing beforehand were totally not linked to arts like engineering and insurance and at the end of day, they chose to come here cause they love arts and they want to pursue something they like in life.. i was thinkin, actually if given a choice..must we waste so many years before we do something that we really like? i mean.. process is more important den destination.. but den.. u understand la.. haha.. so guys.. better start early.. of what you really what to do in life. and the years that you never waste.. you could use it to do something greater?! And of course, not forgetting some of my beloved members are flying off to somewhere this weekend.. to Melbourne.. Tasmania.. Korea etc.. wah.. you guys.. enjoy life ar... i can only hang around Orchard and the east plus west for now. haha.. if i've the time off and the resources.. some of the places i want to go next is Taiwan, Hongkong and Korea.. and mayb back to Australia and Thailand!! Exciting!! Had quite a number of PM lately.. hope it didn't tax too much on you guys.. heyz.. we need to work out in the 'spiritual gym' often lah..if not.. will deflate one.. But we've improved lah.. at least now.. you get to see more of the pple in PM.. not just 1 person standing in the gap.. it takes a family to guard the house of God! Keep it up.. And one of the thing that i caught in the PM is .. there will be a time where the words coming out of our mouth no longer be our own.. but of the spirit man who will utter through us...hmmz.. chim? oki.. nvm..haWent to celebrate Louis' bdae at Billy Bombers on Monday.. Hope you really enjoy yourself..even though at the start, it took a while for our 'engines' to get started.. haha... even though our acting skills are not very good.. but aiyah.. you got to commend us at least for the plot and efforts thrown in lah.. heh
But at the end.. it became our own photo-taking session instead..haha.. it's just us lah.. we were at CoffeeBean...
Sunday.. went to look for Becky also...had a chance to play with her dog...RUBY.. who was suspected of having depression..
heh.. she's very cute.. though unusually passive.. i heard from rebecca that normally it is other cats who chase after her dogs..and she don't have reaction.. i guess when robbers break into the house.. she will welcome them in.. all day long.. she just faces the wall and rest.. oh.. how sad.. i wanted to rear animals when i was young..like chicks..cats and dogs etc.. but my mum dun allow..so at the end i only got 'mealworms' which turned into beatle.. and the last one was a hamster.. which died at the end too...haiz... next time bah.. i shall get a cat and call it kitty.. heh..

God is good and Hiis mercy endures forever..
Somehow had a revelation about this one fact about God when i was reading psalms... that King David wrote.. that in the midst of his fighting and running away from his enemies. That he kept on telling us to praise Him .. huh? Someone of us may wonder .. Praise Him in e midst of our problems?? And David adds on, "For He is good, faithful and His mercy endures forever" Hmmz.. which gets me reminded of this song.. "Hosanna"LORD I LONG TO MAGNIFY YOU

When you begin to know the preciousness of God's grace.. you will not want to trample on it anyhow.. For it is the same Grace that lead us to salvation.. the same grace even when we are faithless..God is faithful.. the same grace when you do things that hurt Him..and yet He forgives and continues to love.. indeed God is good! Don't you just agree?

Post Exams...
Hey guys.. i am back!! Back from mugging exams.. back from drowing myself in notes and coffee.. say good bye to the days of hugging your notes to sleep... ye.. and compared to my previous paper.. this MC paper was definitely more 'satisfying' and that i could walk out of the exams hall with a smile :) And the next question that i should ask myself after getting my results in late in early dec *i think.. is which career path should i take.. right now i m workin temp as an admin assistant in this local bank.. C******K.. good in a way that after all i learnt in school about finance and bankin... i am able to apply it in my workplace.. but then whether am i able to work full time etc.. got to depend on one thing.. my cert and results.. of course not to say tt's everything in life.. but i can tell you that at least that will be your stepping stone in life.. be it you like it or not..unless you get to know some prominent people or that your capabilities are so great that cert is just a waste paper to your employer.. c'mon.. young ones.. STUDY smart.. and well.. stop complaining how your life sucks in school or how your teacher is torturing you.. things are very different when you are out here in the society.. if we carry the attitude as what we have in school out there.. you can't get anywhere far in life.. Seriously..
Surprisingly, i get to like to blog..can't wait to take nice pictures wherever i go now and show it to you guys.. today louis, angie, kenny and myself, we went to the TCC in clarke quay.. tt place has superb ambience.. the food was alrite.. but beautiful scenery.. just that didn't have enough time to take pics of ourselves..Here is just a few... of our food..
Angie and i shared this club sandwich.. and a green apple twist beverage.. Overall was alrite lah.. i give it erm.. 2 1/2 thumbs up? (full marks is 5 thumbs)
Talking about fantastic.. must recommend you guys this taiwan la mian stall in far east.. 5th level.. very nice.. very worth the money.. i give 4 1/2 to 5 thumbs up for it.. i ordered spicy beef ramen.. angie got this fish ban mian.. and we shared the 'jiao zi'... very nice.. really.. NICE.. they are not stingy with their ingredients and it is fresh and taste great.. tt's very commending.. forgot to take pics.. next time ba.. haha.. Life is getting very exciting nowadays.. i always tell my friends.. when the people have holidays..it's when we get more and more busy.. evangelistic outreaches.. events. big days.. and the list just goes on.. but the moment i thought about the end of year.. about Christmas..man i get excited.. i want to do it the best i know how.. and then celebrate with all my heart.. at the end.. knowing that i've fought a good fight.. So talking about events.. heyz.. we are having this exciting time of fun at this chalet we are organising this coming sat at Aloha Changi.. if you can make it.. do join us k?? There'll be a great time of fun, games and food.. and get to know new friends.. So that's about it for today.. i m tired again.. ha.. few questions for me to think this season..and mayb you can join me to think too..mayb for your own life.. is that how much is your self-worth this season in life? in the marketplace... $5/hr.. $3.50/hr?? or it's tripled? times another 10 to your current value? or how do you actually define your self-worth in the first place? if you've found some answers..feel free to drop me a tag!! so see ya guys.. byeee...
